JOB: Expert in Media asset management systems
As an expert in the documentation production, documentation management, multiformat and multichannel publication technologies, you’ll be in charge of project management, consulting, before-sales service and even operational missions, such as architecture definition or functional analysis.
You are able to talk with different technical and functional contributors. English knowledge mandatory.
Requested qualities : rigorous, with good inter-personal skills, the ability to listen and reproduce quality oral and written.

TECHNICAL WRITER
You have been technically trained, and you will be performing the following tasks:

Emanating from research studies, after-sale services, technical support services, you will build a technical file.

Technical writing based on customers' specifications while respecting the norms with the support of documentation tools such as (Word), PAO (Framemaker,…) or SGML/XML. (Adept, Epic, Plate-Form documentation,…)

Leading teams on using DAO for producing illustrated insertion of documents..

Assuring the control of complex data.

Delivery of the finished products (CD-ROM, paper circulation, etc…)

You possess the following qualifications:

Capability of compounding the information

Rigorous, methodically inclined, organized.

Able to relocate within the region or nationally.

You master technical writing within its norms, the English technique and office tools such as (Pack Microsoft, Framemaker, etc…). The knowledge of DAO (Isodraw, Autocad or others) is a definite asset.

JOB: TECHNICAL TRANSLATOR
Primary responsibilities:

Translating technical papers from French to English or from English to French in accordance with your mother tongue.
-
Occasional revision of documentation, in accordance with your mother tongue.
-
Occasionally answering our customers' questions on linguistic or grammatical matters.
-
Requirements :
-
University degree (first or second cycle) in Translation and or Languages or the equivalent.
-
Minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in translating technical papers.
-
Extensive mastering of French and English languages.
-
Knowledge of terminology resources.
-
Be a member of the Order of Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters of Quebec (OTTIAQ) or admissible.
-
Master of the following software: Word, Excel, Power point.
- You organize your time in terms of priorities.
- You appreciate a job well done and you are respectful of deadlines.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Knowledge of such languages as (SGML, XML) and or translation assistance software as (TRADOS) is a definite plus.
- The knowledge of software publications such as (In Design, QuarkXPress, Acrobat Professional, Illustrator…) is considered a plus.
